Who is invited?

Community members wishing to begin or deepen their knowledge and practices. Feel free to invite co-workers, business associates and or friends.

  • Rise Collaborative Workspace, 730 Colorado Blvd Suite 200, Denver, CO 80206 in the conference room and or another small space

What To Expect?

Each week in the morning or over lunch we’ll meet for 30 minutes.  we’ll take a few minutes to check-in, then meditate for 15 -20 minutes followed by brief discussion for anyone who would like to talk about their practice experience. On occasion we may also try different types of mindful listening and partner practices.  As the facilitator I will draw from the Search Inside Yourself curriculum.

What is Search Inside Yourself?

Initially designed and tested at Google, the SIY 2-Day program teaches mindfulness and emotional intelligence skills that lead to sustained peak performance, strong collaboration and effective leadership. Participants experience increased self-awareness and self-regulation, practical take-away skills including a range of mindfulness practices, empathetic listening and preparation for difficult conversations.

Imagine you’re in a tube, radioactive juice is running through your body, and the machine is noisily taking deep X-rays while you will yourself to be healthy. That was me about fifteen years ago repeatedly heading to the hospital for this test and it was when my meditation practice became solidified. Despite the crazy “racket” in the huge machine, while focused on the breath, I felt at ease with my thoughts and feelings. Advance to today, as a Certified Teacher with the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, I look forward to sharing this program…it’s a “game-changer” and a privilege to make these practices accessible to everyone while bringing peace to our world.
