Think about the last time you went somewhere new.  Maybe it was a local neighborhood. Or perhaps you landed somewhere exotic on vacation.  Typically when we’re somewhere new, we’re very VERY PRESENT to the sounds, what we see, the smells, the energy, who is around us…all of our senses are engaged. Honing our “Being Present” mindfulness skills is a key component of the Search Inside Yourself program.

At A Traveling Time we’re about the journey in your life, internally and externally, whether you’re actually traveling or not.  How we show up everyday matters. To live as travelers everyday we need emotional intelligence.  We can train in emotional intelligence.

As a Search Inside Yourself Certified Teacher  I work with companies and a wide-range of organizations interested in hosting a Two Day Workshop. Keynotes, “Lunch and Learns”, One Day, Half Day programs are also available. All programs are 2/3’s experiential!

What is it? Search Inside Yourself (SIY), a mindfulness-based program initially created at Google, offers a workshop on developing Emotional Intelligence. Daniel Goleman, author of the book, Emotional Intelligence, and co-author (with Richard Davidson) of the recent Best-Seller, Altered Traits, suggests that there are five components of Emotional Intelligence: self- awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy and leadership.

The SIY program combines current neuroscience and mindfulness practices in a coherent, content-rich Two Day workshop. The educational experience is life-changing, inspiring, accessible and useful. It’s for those new to any type of mindfulness program, “seasoned” practitioners or in-between. 

Audience  The SIY program typically holds 20-80 participants and can be customized for a variety of participants including:
